I'm very happy at this news, although backrow forwards are not my idea of a priority recruitment.

A couple of years back he was looking like a great prospect, but he appears to have lost his way a little. Maybe a change of clubs is what the kid needs. Plus, McNamara doesn't know his arris from his elbow so I expect he will automatically improve under a decent coach.

As for Crocker, my comments about not prioritizing a back rower still stand, especially given the cap space he would demand. However, if he can play hooker, I may have to re-think.

In my opinion, not really. He's found his best position at 13 and deserves to stay there. I'm not in favour of Rovers recruiting any more Aussies, even if that harms the team in the short term. Looking further down the line, the club would benefit from a gradual reduction on overseas staff.

Murrell Can play hooker very well and did so in the derby at the KC.
