To paraphrase Fergie - "Test Match cricket, bl00dy hell!"

"I didn't see Risman, Todd or Watkins in red vests.
I saw a bit of Steve Gibson and Blakely at his best.
Now I'm watching Alker lead us on against the rest,
As the Reds go marching on ...... "

Broad and Swann are bowling well, but we really need Flintoff, Anderson or Harmison to join the party, preferably all three when they get their next chance.

This is awesome

I want a knighthood for the Oval groundsman and a public holiday for the beautiful coin we tossed up :D

If we don't win this we're the worst side ever!!!

I also must thank Ponting for not playing a spinner or Brett Lee.

Reminds me of a wonderful day in 1981. Let's hope we can enforce the follow on!

I don't think the follow on would be the right call.

The pitch is detiorating at an alarming rate and I wouldn't fancy batting last.

If we can knock them off for less than 200, which is likely, then get another 200 on the board then it shouldn't be too much trouble bowling them out to win the match.

Anyway, Flintoff will need a rest to come in for a five wicket haul in his last innings as a bowler.

Anyway, they're about 4 or 4 short of getting past the follow on, so it's a good thing.

Hope we get them out for less than 175.

I agree about the follow on and that England should bat again but we also ned to think about the weather. The weekend is fine but Monday is forecast rain.

Really pleased for Broad.
