You missed the game last night. We got a bonus point. Lots of Fax fans have an extra 13 quid still in their wallets. Only a blatent trip that lead to a try was the difference between the sides. We know if we are losing by a shed load of points we can come back.
There you go.
Hate to burst the bubble further, but i'm sure in the laws of the game, tripping is allowed aslong as another player is controlling the momentum of the tackle and it supported such as yesterday were the batley player already had hold of the player then the team mate stuck his leg out
that was my take on it anyway

Sorry to burst your bubble but you're wrong!

(even if the defender has a hand hold on the ball-carrier) to TRIP
or THROW constitutes an infringement.

your right, i hold my hands up i was wrong
the rule i was getting mistaken with was...
"it is permissible for a tackler to bring a player in possession of the ball to the ground by pulling him over the outstretched leg provided he is holding the player with both arms before there is any contact with the leg"

Not our shocking discipline and poor one on one defence? Agreed it was a blatant trip but it wasn't the difference between the two sides by any stretch of the imagination. Can you honestly say Cherryholme's try was a DEFINITE try?
I think the way we came back with only 16, then 15 fit players with Black barely fit was admirable, and Penky's return to the dummy half and showing why he has to play there every week as well.
