I've just been watching British Isles a natural history where one of the subjects was Neanderthal man.

A modern make-up team worked on Alan Titchmarsh for four hours trying to recreate the physiclal resemblence and they managed to turn him into:

Danny Brough!!!! (only slightly brighter though).
