So who will replace them??
Are Widnes ready??? How about Halifax???
Barry, you took a long time to come out from under your stone, where've you been? Given it's the school holidays it's not as though you had detention yesterday and missed all this is it?

How about one of the following? Merthyr Tydfil, Ebbw Vale, Treherbert, Barry, Pontypridd, Cardiff, Cardiff Blue Dragons or Bridgend. On the other hand, someone might realise that expansion clubs need to build on the solid base of amateur rugby league which is exactly what happened in the case of Castleford, Feathersone, Workington and Whitehaven all of which are still with us.

I've been over in Portugal spreading the word around just how good it is to be an Aussie
They don't like you Poms over there do they??
And yes, I had a great time thanks for asking.
However, my original point stands.
Celtic are pretty much finished. Their only hope is that the RFL will *ahem* 'assist' them like they allegedly did with London Harlebroncos
as they seem desperate to expand the game no mateer how stupid they look.
My personal choice would probably be Widnes, although Halifax MAY be able to survive.
The other name being mentioned is Featherstone. I must be honest I had never heard of them and I don't know enough about them to comment.

Merthyr Tydfil????!!!!!
Thats a great idea.
All the away fans could park up the Gurnos estate and walk down. Its really nice up there.

You do actually need more than seven players to play in Superleague guys.
The standard doesnt have to be very high, but it's advisable to have 13 actually starting.
Good luck for next season....wherever you may be!!!

Don't think so Bazza!! New money coming in. Unless for some reason there are legal sanctions etc against the crusaders cos I can't see the RFL/SL imposing any when they appear as complicit at this stage in the recent fiasco. I'm fairly sure they'll be playing SL next term. This will have died down in a week or so and be consigned to the "lets never mention this again" recepticle at the RFL.

Who on earth by????? Years of suffering from exclusion from SL, subsequent apathy and now having the lid nailed firmly shut left our club on it's @rse! We're in recovery now and growing well. But nowhere near what's required - YET! No whether the RFL would ever allow us in regardless of performance?? There's the rub!
She carries on through it all......

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!
