Just wondering what people's plans are for the full weekend?
Are people doing any sight-seeing, is anybody going to the Skolars on Friday night etc?
I travel down on the Thursday afternoon for a work function on the evening.
Friday morning I'm off to our De Vere hotel near Watford to meet the family, before a bit of sight-seeing on Friday afternoon (London eye etc.)
Not sure about Friday evening, may just be an early one ready for the big day, although I am considering the Skolars game.
Saturday morning it's a case of breakfast, and then a 15minute train journey to Wembley, few drinks at the Green Man pub, before heading into the ground a couple of hours before the game to soak up the atmosphere and meet the rest of our group.
Again, not sure about the evening, if we win, it may be a trip into the centre of London for a big night out, otherwise probably a few drinks around Wembley and then back to the hotel.
Sunday, get home for the homecoming in the afternoon.
What are other people's plans, anybody doing anything exciting (apart from the match)?

Lived in and around London for 12 years so I really have no interest in sight seeing or whatever. Will also be on a budget due to only getting back from our family holiday on the Wednesday before, so there and back in a day for me. We will park somewhere outside of London, pint and a pub lunch before training it to Wembley, take in the build up and atmosphere before the game, and hopefully after, then back onto the train and drive home.
The added bonus is that as the driver I will be alcohol free. This is something I am quite pleased about as I know I was there in 1990, but due to an alcohol related haze I don't remember a thing about the day other than chatting to some pensioner from Hull in the toilet in a pub off Baker Street

Yeah, I'm gonna try and keep as clear a head as possible, rather than turning it into a huge session before hand.

Dave, thanks for your question.
I'm the designated driver for the weekend (though it doesn't mean I will be tee-total, only on the trips there and back!!) so we'll be leaving early Friday morning and travelling to our drop off point where I'll b leaving the car. Quick train/tube into Euston where our hotel is and then we'll have a couple of drinks and a stroll around. Probably head to the Euston Flyer or the O'Neills.
Friday night will possibly include the Skolars game and then a trip out. I think we are doing Camden and the Dublin Castle on the Saturday so Friday night may head to Covent Garden or something like that!
Saturday morning will be a big fry up in the hotel and then head to Wembley, where we normally convene in the Green Man Pub aswell!!! (so if you spot me, come over and say hello!) Then head to the game, and then whether we win or lose, I'll still be out and about either celebrating our win, or toasting the team for getting this far!
Sunday will be recovery and back home for the homecoming in the afternoon.

There is 8 of us getting the train down on the Friday after work (7.15pm from Manchester) and staying in a Travelodge near Heathrow, which i know is out of the way but is only 40 minutes and 1 tube from the centre of London. Saturday will be all about the match, Sunday will be sightseeing and no doubt shopping day for the WAGS. Monday home/sleep.
We were suppose to be coming home on the Sunday but the Engineering works between London Euston and Northampton with London Midland would have made that a nightmare 6 hour journey, which i didn't fancy with a hangover, so we have booked for an extra day.

Book your train tickets from Brighton now if you can - got mine for £9 return when it's normally about £20.
