GREAT COMEBACK BY THE LADS, THEY HAD NOTHING TO PLAY FOR BUT NEVER GAVE UP, SOUNDED LIKE A REALLY GOOD EFFORT IN THE LAST 20mins

To be fair, nobody in the ground thought there was any way back either. And we did look disinterested a few times during the game. No one was sure where that last ten minutes came from.

I'm not complaining, mind. I do think the Quins fan above spitting his dummy out is a tad off the mark though.

For once we actually had the rub of the green when it came to refereeing decisions with what I thought as quite few incorrect calls being made in our favour. The tries we conceded were poor defensively but it was very good to see us snatching vctory from the jaws of defeat rather than vice verse for once. Pretty meaningless game in the grand scheme of things but glad I was there for a bit of a morale boosting win.

I agree with this but thought the ref was OK. Quins were bad, Salford were bad. Two very bad teams and a dismal game.

Well done Salford , and I`m sure the win made the trip more than worthwhile for everyone who traveled down .

I find it strange that when Salford City Reds beat-

Hull Away
Leeds Away
Bradford Home
Warrington Home
Saints Home
Harlequins Away
Celtic Home
Huddersfield Away

Salford rarely play well and the other teams have played badly whereas when Salford get beat the other teams have been brilliant.

I have been around long enough to accept a defeat for what it was and take any win that comes along whoever it happens to be against.

Last week I was a little uptight due to a touch of Benthamitis this week things could not be better.

just back from london and can i say i didnt think the lads looked disinterested maybe a little knackered at times (it was very warm)and a few were going down with 'cramp'...spelling pointed out....in 2nd half, but so did the quins infact from the kick off they were all strolling back to get on there line, ref let the game flow not to many whistles and some good tackles by malc.adamson and smith..usual kicking from stef although he looked like he was carrying an injury. We didnt miss myler. And from what i could see not a bad attendance from salford fans..
