The Wire - It's Time To Believe
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will. When the road you're trudging seems all up hill, When the funds are low, and the debts are high, And you want to smile, but you have to sigh, When care is pressing you down a bit, Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with the twists and turns, AS everyone of us sometimes learns, And many a failure turns about, When he might have won had he stuck it out: Don't give up through the pace seems slow. You may succeed with another blow.
Success is failure turned inside out, The silver tint of the clouds of doubt, And you never can tell how close you are, It may be near when it seems so far; So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit, It's when things seem worse, that you must not quit. NOW THE WIRE!
Martin Dawes went into 'pre-pack administration' which effectively kills off the old company, creates a new one which buys the business and goodwill, and allows the business to continue trading as Martin Dawes. As they've closed all their retail shops as part of this, I imagine they're going to need as much advertising exposure as they can get, so I would be surprised if they stopped sponsoring the stand.

I'm pretty sure their shop at Gemini is still and has remained open.
Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

That's their head office, so it makes sense to keep the shop element open so at least customers have somewhere to visit.
In any case, you're more likely to get customers on a retail park than you are on the high street, where their other shops were. I was also surprised to read that they only had nine shops. I thought they'd a lot more than that.
Apparently their online shop is still trading, and I think that's pretty much how they want to focus their business in the future. Not overly convinced, personally.

Went in the shop on Gemini a couple of weeks ago, they had no stock that they could actually sell.
