The vicar at that time was the Reverend Scott and his 5 sons made up the nucleus of the team. The club immediately took on members who were plumbers and glaziers.
Soon another team, Hull White Star, was formed and the two clubs merged. Hull Football Club was one of the first clubs in the north of England to join the Rugby Football Union.
Merging.......you love it
Gateshullthundersharks white star ?????
Hull Albany Kingston Amateurs Rovers. Yep, we're not the only team with a merger and name change in our past.

The very fact that there is a 15 page thread on here about you being the biggest side in Hull shows that you are just small time club and will always just be FC's annoying little brother.
If we have endured two seasons of"mediocrity".
What have you been through in the same two seasons my friend?

Thats just given me an idea for a new Avatar
Whilst your avatar is indeed quite amusing,I couldn`t give a naff if Rovers were our big brother, grandad or third cousin twice removed. The fact is Hull ,to me will always be number one.But keep `em coming, the banter is great.
