I'd be happy with Brough but will we get him? Unlikely i'd say as theres going to be a few clubs in for him and no doubt we'll get outbid.

Wigan, outbid under IL where have I heard that one before?

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever

Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go

Another little bit in todays MEN linking us with McGuire, not much but every little helps. Apparently Lenegan sounded him out whilst over there, which is going back a while but could be true, we've already tried to sign one of the assistants at Melbourne in Kearney and now were going after the other.

I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubblegum.

Don't you struggle. Don't you fight. Don't you worry, cause it's your turn tonight!

IL reads these forums and we all know that, he should clearly do what the fans want.

Not a particularly endorsing view of Fairleigh from his own fans.

Surely if it's between Fairleigh and McGuire there's only one winner.

having read that he is about as popular as Farrar was here! At the end of the day the guy played for stains, that should rule him out straight away.

I wouldn't worry about the Wigan Reporter. It really is the shallowest end of the pool in terms of Wigan journalism, just recycled bits and bobs from all the other papers.

I doubt anyone who works on it does any research of their own.

It was in the Observer on Tusday and it was only case of Fairleigh saying 'i'd be interested in the Wigan job'.

I bet he would by the sounds off all that!
