He would do a good job for the Crusaders/Salford a very good player if fit, I would agree he is only a stand in full back but I am sorry to see him leave without a chance to show us his skills to his fans.
Tony is a decent player, but his injuries alone would put any club off from signing him, shame really.

I'M SURE THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE FACT THAT THE FRONT RUNNERS FOR THE 2009 MEDIA WHINGING AWARD ARE FROM GATESHEAD AND HULL FC, FORMERLY THE B*ST*RD-TWINS OF ONE OF RUGBY LEAGUE'S LOUSIER IDEAS.

First choice hooker for my money. An insect bite has ended his season (or thats what the fans are being told) which if true is hardly a reason not to sign a player as long as he passes a medical plus the extended lay off could give him a couple of extra seasons at the top level.
If we had space on the quota I'd give him a go with a release clause if any injuries are recurrances.
IMO we would have never had a better hooker in our SL days than Motu and thats no offence to the guys that have played there but Tony is an international in that position something we dont have (unless you count Scotland).
