Thirdly and this is for fans of other clubs who have been this year.A bit of advice needed for me.Does anyone know what the train service is like from Carcassonne to Toulouse and also the return.Ive heard that some public transport doesnt run on the sunday thats all and it might be a tow to get back to the airport.Thanks in advance.

Im only following my beloved dons SO.I just wondered if anyone else was going as well.I was going to hire a car from the airport but i know a few of the others who i was going to go with now arent so it'll be too expensive now.So its the train for me instead! I just need to know i can get back ok on the sunday though!!

Believe the first train from Toulouse to Carcassonne is just before 7am on Sunday and takes about 45mins.

The last time we went we caught the train from Carcasonne and it was a doddle and it is about 45 mins.

We are stopping at the Etap hotel in Les minimes about 600yrds from the train station.

There are 11 of us and we are driving down and we will be there early Friday Morning, hopefully the weather will be good and the beer will be cold.

The flight back is around 1630 so ill look for a train about 12ish.Im going to try and book my trains tonight.Not booked the digs yet but im going in the same etap as Big Baz and his crew.

Didnt here of any other people yesterday who were going next week.I think theres only going to be 20 or so of us.Is anyone else going at all???
