It didn't seem like 0-64 to me.
No seriously......I didn't think Barrow were anything special and that's not sour grapes.
I thought they were worth half that total......they couldn't really have hoped for a better rub of the green.
The ref and his officials were shocking today .......and I rarely criticise the officials....truly shocking....to the point that an official complaint is in order.
Not that that would go down well in our particular situation.
If the linesmen can't police forward passes .......well what's the point?

They were too strong for us down the middle but we didnt have any luck either. The lads should just try and forget whats happened and try our best next week.

I still think we can cause a surprise in france though and get a result against Gateshead.

Come On You Dons !!!!

I think that was a damaging result.....even though Barrow are top of the league.
We have seen rapid progress in recent weeks.....but we went backwards yesterday big time.
We never really looked like scoring and that is our main problem......unless you can score the other side will and after a few tries the game is gone.
We capitulated a bit yesterday.
That bloody ref gave a holding down penalty from which a try ensued late in the second half and Barrow had been having tea and biscuits lying on all game unpenalised, not to mention constant offside.........were is the consistency?

Only by virtue of the size of the victory.

Has already siad Barrow were much too strong in the second half down the middle and were really making us scramble at every play of the ball. I thought we did well for the first 30 mins but do think that it took a lot out of us. Defending all the time componded by the hot weather was always going to be telling in the 2nd half. Not a surprise that i also am getting mightily pi**ed off with officials who seem to crucify us, not sour grapes but fact.

Theres no doubt that our lads are punching above their weight but do give their all, the 2 chasing back in the dying seconds to try to stop the 11th try being a good demonstration of this. I thought Weedon tried really hard to effect the game but nothing really went for him. I am hopeful that we can keep the nucleus of this side for next year as we have the basis for a decent outfit and with the addition of a few canny signings could be a very competitive side.

Onward and upwrd, COYD
