Maybe because of how Monte attacked (Ryan McGoldrick?) away at Cas the other year!

Boxing is all about trading toe to toe with opponents, not attacking them when they're on their knees with their back to you.

Having said that Monte was, and is a tough fella and I liked him for us and wish him well in whatever he does..
