Initially yes, but once fans realised that he was genuinely hurt there would be a lull in the atmosphere followed by applause as he left the field. And the same would be true for any wigan player, as it would be from their fans for a Wire player.
Anyone wishing serious injury on anyone needs to take a long hard look at themselves!
