He's right though. If we had kept Samaras we wouldn't need to have signed Adebayor, Santa Cruz and Tevez.
How good was the inter-play between Ireland, Robinho and Adebayor look last night? I know it's early but we need to stop trying to be like Arsenal - i.e. trying to walk the ball into the net.
Shame we can't sya the same about Toure, Given, Dunne and TBH! I sincerely hope that Dunne and TBH do not get further than the bench this season. Actually, I would prefer it if TBH didn't even come to the ground. I have seen some dross, believe me, but he is truly awful.
Stop believing everything you read in the tabloids and hear on the White Van Man radio station. If you watched him play, you would have a different opinion.
He scored 15 goals last season....from the wing. And produced a similar number in terms of assists. I would imagine that only two or three players had a better goal and assist ratio. Not bad for the first season in the Prem.

I got a free ticket so I thought I'd go and watch, Valencia are one of my favourite sides outside of England so I won't get many chances to see them, especially for free! Anyway, David Silva looked very good, passing was classy and his movement and link up play was first class.
One or two others impressed me from Valencia but I didn't know their names so when I find out, I'll give my expert view

Looks like 3-2 could be a recurring scoreline for City, at least in the early part of the season.

We'll see.
That's the first time that back four have played together.
If we get Lescott, I would start with Lescott (left-side) and Toure (right-side) at centre half, with Bridge and Zabaleta in the full-back positions. With Onouha as second choice centre-half.

I agree, but its going to take a while for them to gel. I'd be reluctant to start with Toure & Lescott (assuming he signs) at Blackburn.

Robinho is poor in the Premiership. His not lightweight just very lazy and soft! Never puts a foot in and never chases back (well he does but then stops).
He is the most dissapointing player i have seen in the Premiership along side Veron.
BTW. it's not taken City fans long to slate such signings as Aquilani for Liverpool. It was only over a year ago that you wouldof had 'no' chance to sign such a quality player. Money goes straight to peoples head.

I see you a Daily Star or Daily Mirror reader and a fan of Talksport.
Are you the idiot who said that Adebayor and Tevez are similar?

Why would you want one of the most potent, and best attacking talents in world football, to defend? Of course, I forgot, you have the geatest defensive striker in world football - Dirk Kuyt. Could you imagine poeple saying that Cruyff and Maradone were not that good as they were ineffective defenders?

15 goals and similar number of assists. What a terrible disappoointment. Are those who scored less than Robinho 'poorer'?

I heard that happens on a huge scale in Liverpool every Tuesday.
