In fact bean street was probably one ofthe reasons Hitler decided to turn back and invade Russia! Airlie Street me, we dare'nt go down Beany and Mum used to warn us that if you went down there you would never come back! One Bonfire night around 1958/59 I remember the kids were famous down there for starting a 20 ft bomfire round a telegraph pole.
