The concensus there appears to be that he was a good player but Sharp ruined him by making him play at full back when he's really a half back but I have to say I haven't seen much evidence of him being a half back this season.

We got into the player's bar, They all came in after getting changed,
Thorman was last in.
The daughter was having a shirt signing frenzy with our lot.
Saw Thorman and headed for him.....he almost looked surprised to sign it.
FFS.....hes a fookin human being. And one with feelings like you and me.
I've booed him myself.... and it all made me realise what a tw*t I was doing it.
All the way home all I've thought is...ok He might be a pro and getting well paid but nobody deserves that.
How's this affecting him? His other half? I know I wouldnt want it.
ive been a whinging git about Thorman, but this poster is right, i actually feel sorry for Thorman, and i am quite ashamed of the way i have slagged the kid off!! hope he gets another club and his career gets back on track!!

i think it's fair to say that his playing days in super league are almost over, but i do think he would do a good job for someone in the championship.he's had a bad season for us,and a lot of that is down to confidence.when craig hall was having a bad time,he was taken out of the firing line, given a morale boosting time with widnes, and has come back into the team a totally different player, brimming with confidence, and looking like our best attacking option(not hard to achieve at the mo i accept!!).thorman has been marched to the gallows by agar and sharp, being totally humiliated at leeds and cas by this inept pairing.he should have been taken out the same as hall, given a short loan spell in the championship,in the hope that it would restore his confidence(aka hall).what has happened from the start of the season i don't know,as he looked to have organizational skills and a good kicking game(leeds friendly, bradford away)but after a couple of mistakes,it all went wrong.at the end of the season,it looks certain that he will leave, and i'm sure that he can't wait considering all the abuse he gets.i admit i have given him some stick, but i'm surprised he hasn't had a nervous breakdown the way he has been treated by some of us.i hope the lad goes on to end his playing days somewhere else, where he can enjoy his rugby again.rich horne has had an uninspiring season, but this could happen for the next 2 years and he wouldn't recieve the abuse thorman has had to endure.

I am not a Thorman fan at all but booing a player when his name is read out is ridiculous and childish. He shoud not be in the side and if he is he should be play in the halves, picking him at FB after what happened to him there for Hudds is complete madness.

The best thing for Thorman is to get out quickly, in the championship he could be a star.

I remember them slating him in his last season there so spot on.

Shame though, how does someone turn into the poor player that he has when he was once so good?
