Hull needed to 'do a Sunderland'. They got their lucky break last year, now they had to build massively on it, back the manager and do everything they can to stay in the league. I doubt they have the investment of Sunderland, but they have to bring in a lot of players, their squad looked massively weak after a few months in the league, the defence was woeful and attack non-existent for large parts of the season. If Hull's transfer window carries on like this, and they try to stick with the same side, they will have to have an even luckier year than last season. Hull were more than bad enough to go down last year, they need to put their future in their hands, they can't risk all the other teams having woeful seasons again.

Paving the way for Lescott to City?
Is Moyes pushing his luck with this signing? He's signed some diamonds in the rough in the past and most of the time they've pulled off. Senderos, I think is a pretty good player. Has most of the attributes you want in a defender, he's big, strong and aerially dominant, he reads the game pretty well at times, too. I think Moyes can turn him into a better player than Wenger can, but there's no doubting his brain farts.

Just seen us linked with that Defour at Liege. He's always looked good when I've watched him play, which is about 4/5 times for Liege and a few times for Belgium. I also liked the looks of Axel Witsel, who looks a real classy player.

Think Everton are being linked with a £12m move for Defour too. Would you be happy with Aquilani? I have not seen a great deal of him tbh.

I reckon he'll end up at Villa, for what it's worth.
According to the HDM Beye is using us to try and get clubs like Villa and Everton interested and seems like he isnt interested in coming here.

Well he can stay where he is, I don't want him.
