Ah right, so presumably if I join now at £60 I should still be able to renew East Stand pass for £179 then?

Really do disagree with it tbh, but it kinda seems like got no choice if want to 100% secure your East Stand spot again next year, so proably going to end up getting one (wish the shop would answer the fooking phone though :x ).
That is definately something that needs addressing, every time i ring, i cant get an answer, i was ringing for 5 1/2 minutes yesterday before giving up.
i know they are busy sometimes but this kind of poor telephone service has been going on for months and needs sorting out, it real gets peoples backs up

2009 season pass holders will have priority purchase on Club Rovers Membership until 31 July 2009. Membership goes on general sale from
1 August 2009.
Full membership
• Season pass frozen at 2008 discount prices for 2010 and 2011*
• Away Derby ticket at 50% discount for 2010 game (limited to first 2500 full members)
• Free season review 2009 book (rrp £10.99) for the next 500 new members (2501 – 3000)
So you will still get your discount, otherwise for non pass holders it would be pointless
The only problem is this
If you join the exciting new membership before 31st July 2009 the club will freeze season pass prices at 2008 prices. The season pass does not have to be paid for yet, but it can only be secured at 2008 season’s price by joining Club Rovers. A bit ambiguos so i should check first.....if you can get someone to answer the phone

I'll presume that you were typing at the same time as me, and that's why you've just asked me a question that I've just answered.
Either that or you can't be ar5ed to do anything for yourself! What do you want next, for me to come round and make your tea? "Here's your fish fingers Roofs, would you like some tommy splodge with that?"
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Careful you don't trip on them, wouldn't want you to scald yourself.

Mmm .... it's not entirely clear that existing season pass holders can get a discounted pass unless they joined the Club before the end of July. Although it does say that Club members who aren't existing pass holders can get a discount pass as long as they join the Club between Aug 1st to 16th.
If you read the literature to-the-letter then, as an existing passholder unless you've joined Club Rovers before then end of July, you won't get a discounted pass.
Is the answer to join Club Rovers now but give a different name to that on your pass. I'm sure that can't be right but that's how the logic seems to work!
As I said earlier, I think they've rushed this through and it might come back to bite them on the behind with bad feeling from long-standing supporters who a) haven't read the small print and/or b) are skint.
