FWIW I think Convict makes some good points, however I do think he has been a bit harsh on Dobson. I am not a big fan of Dobson but he has done well for Rovers, whether or not he is worth the money he is on I don't know. The thing is when it comes to halfbacks its more important to have the right combination and Cooke/Dobson seem to be getting better together.
Also I would be surprsied to see Diskin leave Leeds, especially with his Testimonial looming.

Dobson has been outstanding for most of the season and he is still learning his trade so can only get better. The Albert Goldthorpe medal this is just a joke. Mike Sterriker gives Dobbo max points every week no matter how he plays

The Goldthorpe Medal shouldn't be taken too seriously I admit - you only have to look at the preponderance of halfbacks in the top 20 to see that. Still, I'd say it is no more of a joke than Man of Steel has become.
Rugby League isn't a particularly complicated game. Even the slightly more nuanced (:lol:) elements are fairly easy to pick up. I'm even learning some of the jargon off Cullen on BnA - upstream and mini pendulum are my current favourites.
We all think are own opinions are the best - otherwise we'd change them.
