If we're to win this I think it might need a 20/20 style run chase, we will have to try and bowl them out just after tea and hope we have 25-30 overs to chase a score of 150-200. Its a reverse of the situation of the Oval 2005, when Pietersen got a century.

We need 2/3 in the first session today, get them and we have every chance.
Really annoying that the weather has almost ruined this Test along with Warwickshire for not sorting the drainage at the ground. Still the forecast in decent today so we might still get a result.
Tbh i couldnt really see there being a result even if we do bowl them out in the 60 overs why go and risk chasing down the score and getting bowled out (sfterall this is england we are talking about lol) I would happiy take a draw and go to headingly confident. I cant see Austrilia beating us if we dont take risks.
Watson gone. Hussey and Clarke are the vital wickets. I feel that North is the type of player who may play well when things are going swimmingly, but could struggle when under pressure.
