Jason Netherton has signed contract extension until the end of 2011 season. Good solid club man which every club needs as well as the standout stars.

Also won't cost a fortune. I think there's still improvement in Netherton. In our debut SL season I thought he was coming on in leaps and bounds until he got injured (iirc).

Good stuff. He is like the Mike Bennett of St Helens when he was there and every top team has one.

Glad to hear. Despite the positive comments on here, Netherton does seem to get stick/criticised sometimes at games, but IMO he's a very solid and committed player, and superb definisively (maybe it's this which perhaps goes unnoticed by some critics?).
