if thats true then i hope that it's only as part of this proposed link up with an aus club. Heard about his skill in the reserves but then i've been impressed with his defence in his first team appearances.
According to Wigan Today, the Webb move has been held up by the driving ban issue. Sounds like a Visa may not be forthcoming for next year, despite Wigan getting in touch with the High Commission, etc.
Not saying it's true, just that it's on Wigan Today.

Given the fact we knew it would be a tricky issue I would be slighty put out if we did not have a Plan B for this turn of events.......Shane Tronc anyone....oh hang on another ship that has sailed.
IFL needs to deliver a top prop for 2010, even if we do miss out on Webb because of his failure to get the visa, he has had the time and opportunity and must have been aware that this was on the cards should it so prove to be correct.
