He had every opportunity, they would not of released a 20 year old with any potential to break into the first team.
I have no gripe with him, I just dont like Aussie taking the shirt of equally capable British kids, especially when bending the rules to do it.
He is taking a five figure salary away from a British player who could potentially miss out on a career in RL because of second rate Aussies coming here and taking their shirts.
How can we ever improve British RL when we allow so many to come over here and bleed the game dry?

Personally I prefer to leave team selection to a coach who's taken us from NL1 to 4th in Super League. Just a personal preference. Other people might prefer to leave it in the hands of some no mark with an agenda.

As always your opinion is received.......and then discarded
You keep worrying about the team you support and I will think harder about the state of the long term future of the BRITISH game.
If you think someone rejected by Wigan or Bradford would even get a start in NRL Rugby never mind a contract then you are mistaken.
1 Overseas player per club is enough, it is time we looked after our own players and looked to improve the British born players not improve rejected Aussies.

The optimal number of Aussies for the British game, is an interesting point. The number of potentially top players constantly coming through in Oz means they can rely on Darwinian selection, which we can't, sadly, at the moment (or for many moments past). So we have quotas to give our kids a chance, but allow some Aussies in to improve the standard of the competition they play in. I think the RFL have got it about right lowering it to 5 players, but it is a matter of opinion.
The RFL has to look after the wider British game, Hull KR have to look after Hull KR, because nobody else is going to do it.

I agree with you about Rovers looking after Rovers because they are not responsible for the state of affairs, in the same way that we applaud Hull FC for bringing through top young British kids year on year they are winning nowt and nobody is happy.
It is the RFL that need to sort it but 5 is still 4 too many for me.
