He was a wonderful captain for us and he was a major part in us making the play offs and challenge cup final.
Exactly Matt - as i was trying to point out to the knowledgeless fools who were giving him some last night you dont get to captain a super league club in a cup final, in a play-off series and get called up by your country if your a poor player.

Thankfully, plenty agree with us. He rightly should be a Fartown great as he was a major part in our long awaited return to greatness.

he was to put it plainly, a major part in our most succesful period since the 50's and 60's and for that alone he should be shown a lot more respect, than some of these 'recent' supporters show him

thorman was a fantastic player, but like i said before jon sharp has ruined him and its criminal!! i used to respect sharp but he has ruined a couple of good players. i hope thorman moves on and gets back to how he was.
Most Hull supporters would agree with that. I will say, although not a fan of his I do hope he resurrects his career ,wherever he goes. And no,he doesn`t deserve the treatment he is getting.

I only have my dad and grandad to tell me about that, but he has been apart of the most successful period I have seen, although I am hopeful this season will trump it. Nevertheless Thorman has been a great servant for the club.

That just shows how little you actually know about this guy. Long memories, sharp knives!!
His strength of character will show through every time, his spirit is not broken....he cares deeply about his performance and his team although no thanks to his head coach who is totally out of his depth and a Dead man walking, Agar skill is to nail lids on coffins !
Agar doesnt have the back bone to do what he should and that is to cut out the bad apples but ULL boys are the protected species, Geordies do not apparently warrant that same player respect or protection.
Thorman is an absolute professional, many folk have witnessed this both on and off the park. A proud man who is doing it tough at present, with little help from Management or players! Not that he expects help I would imagine, just getting on with the cards dealt to him.
