thought we played well, even if we were in 2nd gear and with a couple rested players, defence was awesome, just hope we can keep that defence up next week. Well done boys...... the journey was worth it!

Personally I thought we were magnificent.

For the first 20 minutes we appeared to be over-anxious - silly penalties, spilling the ball. But after that we simply upped the ante. There wasn't a weak link anywhere.

For the last 20 minutes we were tackling like monsters - on their line! It was amazing and fantastic to watch.

Outstanding support also. Good numbers and excellent voice. There's now a 'Nathan Brown' chant.

Our mate Mr G was reffing and, wait for it, I personally thought that he didn't put a foot - or whistle - wrong. It was one of the best refereeing displays I've ever seen. Well done Mr G

And all that without Andy R, Fatz, Eorl, Griff, & Wildy!

Not sure avbout Mr G. I cannot understand why Robbo was penalised one on one for a ball steal, i thought he missed several knock ons at the PTB by Hull, gave a scrum when we had the advantage of an attack and the touchie gave a drop out when Thorman never even touched the ball.

Huddersfield Giants 2013 over achievers

Huddersfield Giants 2014 under achievers ??????????

Now Ganson reffing well was worth the trip alone! :)

Having just seen DG's comment - maybe I peaked too soon!

Just got home after a few detours

24 Nil    That's the most pleasing part for me. Giants confidence is oozing and the 1st half was not great but 2nd was magnificent.

The last try scored by Lawrence via the high bomb from Fulton summed up Chris Thormans season.

Great atmosphere from us yet again and it was great to silence to the Hull faith-full.

NB you are GOD 8)

Sounds like a good do all round! Second (I know only for now) with only 4 games left and the best defence in the league - I reckon we'd have taken that at the start! :D

That was Leroy, and Thorman just didn't have a clue where it was, he was lucky with the decision for the first 'up and under' the touch judge giving him the call - as DG says I'm not sure about that one.

Thought we gave away too many penalties and our handling was not the best tonight, however you just can not argue with the defence, truly brilliant.

There was one move which would have been try of the season had Leroy held on (second one he dropped), although it was low down below the knee and he as at full pelt. The move was obviousy something from the training field and must of involved 7/8 players running at angles the Hull defence didn't know what was happening.

I'm absolutely delighted, we rested a few too and can't wait for next weekend.
