Amazing how they crammed 30 overs into 2 hours last night (to take my reimbursement away :cry: )

But only managed 23.5 in the same period before lunch today :shock: :shock:

ECB = robbing ba****ds :?:

Aye, the ECB are directly responsible for England's over rate... :lol:

Probably more to do with 7 interruptions for a new batsman to come to the crease this morning, and no overs of spin as compared to one wicket and two overs from Swann last night.

if the Aussies go 2-0 down and need to win the final two games to retain the Ashes, how about call up Shane Warne and Matthew Hayden out of the commentary box.....Schumacher is doing it...?

6 overs this morning equates to 30 minutes! Now, I know the trip back to the pavillion is lenghty but certainly not 30 minutes worth.

I have absolutley no doubt that the over rate will have been mentioned last evening before England went out to bowl. The England team players have central contracts paid by the ECB, therefore making them the players boss. Instructing them to ensure no refunds need be paid by getting 25 overs in before the close will have been in the forefront of Giles Clarke's mind I'm sure :idea: :idea:

I would imagine Boycs would quite happily want Hayden out of the TMS commentary box after he described Boycott's batting as "the sort that empties cricket grounds" on air yesterday.

Apparently Boycott stormed out.

We'd have done it in this series but Monty and Jimmy ran out of time at Cardiff to get the other 300 runs they needed :D :D

Though Australia were lucky to get away with that one tbh.
