Probably more to do with 7 interruptions for a new batsman to come to the crease this morning, and no overs of spin as compared to one wicket and two overs from Swann last night.
6 overs this morning equates to 30 minutes! Now, I know the trip back to the pavillion is lenghty but certainly not 30 minutes worth.
I have absolutley no doubt that the over rate will have been mentioned last evening before England went out to bowl. The England team players have central contracts paid by the ECB, therefore making them the players boss. Instructing them to ensure no refunds need be paid by getting 25 overs in before the close will have been in the forefront of Giles Clarke's mind I'm sure
