I think we can all accept a bit of a joke... but the timing of this was very bad. Everyone is feeling on a bit of a downer at the moment and probably didn't need this right now.

On a plus side... how much did it make people realise how much we value him ? In my opinion... I have no worries losing Myler... But Stefan... that would be a different story.

By the wording of that article I still think he'll leave you.

HULL FC and LEEDS UNITED fan

Us real fans don't look over our shoulder at our neighbours and do whatever we can to get one over on them. We look at the bigger picture. And this is the reason why Rovers are and will forever be considered a small club. Because their fans and board would rather get one over on Hull FC above anything else.

Quite sad, really!

SPOT ON!

Young lads having a laugh which got out of hand.
Never happened before has it
Unfortunately with the electronic age it is now very easy to put things on a network site which you think are personal but which everyone can see.
How many times have you hit send on a e-mail and then noticed someone is on the cc who you did not want to see it or you have thought after oh $hit what have I done.
I look at this on a positive side
1/ It shows Stef and McRae how much we value him
2/Shows we do have team unity despite what people are saying

This "joke" was probably aimed at those who will blindly put information on forums and debate it, or publish it in newspapers without checking things out first. Many people have taken the bait and it has backfired somewhat. Lesson for the players is that "jokes" get out of hand way too quickly and the lesson to the rest of us is to concentrate on what is going on on the pitch, becasue at the end of the day that is all we can comment on with any sort of reliabilty. Lets stop this mindless speculation about who is going where and when (its getting boring) and get on with the rugby.
