No, I live on planet earth and you live on erm, well some where I don't want to go any time soon.
You fancy a bet on that? It's never going to happen
Do you remember in 2006 when we finished 5th and you guys were 2nd bottom? I would have probably put money on us finishing above you the next season but it didn't happen.
Not saying we will finish above you next season because I wouldn't bet on it happening but it still could.
Back on subject though, I think a move to Wakefield could probably be described as a step up but it would be a minimal one. Wakefield are a side who, I believe, punch above their weight and I actually like them for that because they're often written off in the same way as we are. I think Kear is a very good coach who gets the best out of what he has.

You have my sympathies, rumours like this do nothing to help matters when the season is still underway, we've had enough with stories regarding most of Wakefield’s players (who all seem to be going to Cas). If it does turn out to be a joke then the players involved need a good talking to about the damages their little prank could potentially have upon the club they play for.
You can add the signings of Tronc & Newton for next year in comparison to Salford losing Myler and Turner.
Kear is a better man manager and coach than MCrae.
We may be offering Ratchford the chance to play six as opposed to anywhere but six or not in the team at all.
Where would Ratchford possibly go where he will be nailed on to win silverware?
Realisicaly he will move to a club thats higher up the league but it's not likely to be Sts, Leeds or Wigan so then Wakefield then come into the frame with about four other clubs.
No disrespect to Salford who I like as a club but recent history has you lower down the pecking order than Wakefield so it's not a step sideways.

I'd doubt he'd want to do that he's not from Salford, he's a Wire (I think)

We outstrip you in every position except 6, coaching and player personnel. Crowds have been down but things aren't easy in households across the country too. And i can honestly say we have one of if not the best youth systems in the country. Look at the academy results, they don't lie!
