Very very poor. As AJ said totally outclassed all over, not least in the kicking game and I know it is sometimes said that the referees are poor and I am never there so I cant judge. I must say that thanks to several camera angles I feel Ronnie Laughton has been poor and I feel two tries given by the video ref were no tries. (George raynor obstruction and dewsbury player within ten off the kick.)

I'm gutted just got back, yes you can blame the ref if you want but we just rolled over like lap dogs in front of the cameras yet again, we could be in serious trouble if we can't regain any confidence after that, I really thought we could turn them over tonight having watched for 30 years, how wrong was I!! I feel physically sick, what on earth will those potential new fans make of it, I even dragged my best mate down tonight for the first time and he wasn't overly impressed, made me look a fraud.!!!

No Andrew I wouldn't blame it on the referee and video referee we were terrible in the second half. Just shows the complete gulf in class, if we're the second best in the league, as he table shows. It seems were at the top of the fourth professional league as they are out on their own. My point on the referee was that their were some terrible decisions and had the game followed the pattern of the first half it would have had a huge say in the match, as we now know it didnt. Must say alot of my friends went down and I have received texts all night asking what the hell they were doing.

Watch the first 30 minutes Stephanie, it was good stuff by both sides. We could quite easily have been 3 tries up, it was all us keeping them pegged back. But then we just gave up and let them in before half time and they showed their commitment, concentration and skill for the next 50 minutes whereas we just got more and more upset and down hearted. Too many individual mistakes (dropped balls / lost in tackle as not strong enough to hold on and we can't blame the ref for that), fat unfit props being given a shirt ahead of fit, fast, game hardened dedicated props didn't help, and they had a dream kicker, no 14 is all I know but by god did he kick the goals from anywhere and everywhere and his kicks to touch were also long. Not knocking Danny here, just saying their guy really racks up points and it must be great to have confidence you can score from anywhere. Were all the little dinks from his boot aswel, they seemed very well thought out moves. Dews will do well in NL1 next year with that speed and style, good luck to them.
I guess there will be some soul searching for the boys and Barry. Are we here to win or take part. For 30 minutes we looked like we were there to win but after 80 mins going up a division may do more harm than good with regards getting people to Cougar Park.
What was the big news, was it about the ground? Had to shoot off to get the lad to bed.
Must say loved the atmosphere with 1700 people there, surprised the players didn't get off on it (so to speak). Going to watch the game again at 12.30 on sky sports so may change my post then.
Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.
TThe news about the ground is we have a 60 year lease which is fantastic well done to all concerned and to the doubters well less said the better.
Re the game Dewsbury wer a very effivcient and ruthless team and well deserved their victory putting to onse side some disputed calls by the ref we would not have won.
I do not accept we gave up or rolled over Dewsbury were simply the better team.
How many would have taken 2nd place at this stage of the season if told at the beginning I would.
Its not all doom and gloom we have strong chance of 2nd place and firmly believe we will reach and win grand final.

I do think we stopped and gave up, demonstrated perfectly with 5 minutes to go in the first half with the same points, they knocked the ball backwards 10 yards towards their own line, so our lads all stood still, thinking, well look at that, the balls gone backwards boys, what do we do.......
Why not chase the damn thing and stop them running 60 yards to score a try. In the second half we stood arguing with the ref on our own line and they just picked up the ball and ran over for a try, so yes i do think we gave up at times.
Dewsbury are clearly a very good team, they all looked fit and strong, not a potato wedge in sight amongst them, they had some great moves and looked as fast and as organised after 80 minutes as after the 1st minute, we need to aspire to match them then beat them and if a player thinks stretching a shirt on, or taking part for 30 minutes is good enough then get rid and get some others in. We can argue with the ref after the match when we have stopped the try going over. One of our players shouted rubbish whilst 4 feet from the linesman instead of going back to get in line, yet the linesman got the call right IMO, just get back in line and keep yer head.
As I said before I may change my mind when I see the replay at 12.30.

Keep your chins up, Dewsbury were a much more physical and more skillful side. Keighley can build on that though and overall your season has been good to date. Nice to see a decent crowd in even if it wasnt the greatest result.
We held them for 40 mins but thats not much consolation when they take us to the cleaners for the other 40.
You can't do much without field position or ball in hand and we didn't get much of either in the second half.
Dewsbury had a very well executed game plan to deal with us and it worked. They were the better side in the second half by a long way.
Disappointed with some of the decisions from the officials (as were the commentators on telly) and although that would not have changed the result it might have changed the score. He did not ping them once for not standing square, which they used quite a lot in the second half to keep us pinned down.
I wish then all the best for next year it will be interesting to see how they go in the higher division where sides will play against them for the full 80.
I have only been wrong once and thats because I thought I was wrong but I was wrong I was right!
