The reason i say this is that i've just crawled through some old photos and i can shamefully say i was a Man U fan up to the age of about 7.

Why did i change to Liverpool ? None of my family are that big football fans and it cant be for glory as i was born in 1988. So Man U was the dominant team. However i dont quite know when the point was when i loved Liverpool. The passion i have for them now and the anger i have towards Man U is unreal.

Peter Johnson spiffing chap was on Radio Merseyside before saying he is furious this company done this. Apprently for many many years they have been in charge of finding investment and new owners for Tranmere and he said he woke this morning to find this

It really isn't on because as PJ said, he is at Edgebaston today awaiting some cricket as a guest and his phone hasn't stopped about this Ebay thing   typical Peter Johnson.

I had the choice between Everton and Liverpool

I went with the old mans team and became a Liverpool fan after going to fixtures from both teams. I think You'll Never Walk Alone just seem to mean more than Z Cars.

I was bombarded with complaints from Aunties, Grandmas etc.

To be fair thats a completly different situation to that of a 7 year old child finding a club he loves!

Having said that if the girlfriend gets her way, i'll be getting a season ticket with my child at Old Trafford in a few years

It was a school thing – you either liked football or speedway. I'd liked football for years. If you liked football, you were expected to be either red or blue. I picked blue. That was the early '70s. And so it grew.

My father is a Plymouth Argyle fan, but both parents didn't want to encourage a girl to follow football, so it was entirely my 'thing'.

Although once it had become clear that I liked football, he liked to buy me Shoot and football cards. As something of a tomboy, I think it made him feel I was almost a boy.
