Just been thinking. What made YOU feel the way you do about the club you support.

The reason i say this is that i've just crawled through some old photos and i can shamefully say i was a Man U fan up to the age of about 7.

Why did i change to Liverpool ? None of my family are that big football fans and it cant be for glory as i was born in 1988. So Man U was the dominant team. However i dont quite know when the point was when i loved Liverpool. The passion i have for them now and the anger i have towards Man U is unreal.

Glory Hunter

Didn't have a choice, born into a blue family and got my first Everton season ticket when I was 5, had one ever since in same seat and wouldn't change it for the world...just some of the poop had to put up with watching.

I wasn't that big on football until I decided to play for the school team at like infant/primary school. After lots of people were like who do you support Rob, I was like, what do you mean? Who is there?

So I went home, asked my dad and he was like you support Liverpool, and bought me the kit to play in. After then I just stuck with it, as you do as a little kid and just grew more into it as I went to see them at Anfield and stuff. I guess I'm just like most lads really, supporting whoever my dad supported then grew into it from there.

Same here, dad was United, my nan was United, me and my 2 brothers all have season tickets in the Stretford End. First game was 1988 against Wimbledon. Choccy scored 2 after Terry Gibson had opened the scoring. It was hard in the early years watching Liverpool win everything and many dark moments, City dicking us 5-1 being one, watching us play Newcastle in front of 18,000 when they had Mirandinha playing for them.

I guess I'm not like most lads then, I was bought a United shirt by my uncle aged 2 months, and he like my mum / grandparents etc were all United fans and made me a United fan.

I've just seen last nights game versus Boca Juniors. A good performance, I thought Valencia fitted in really well to say it's his debut. It's really good to see Anderson get on the score sheet, even if it doesn't count and wasn't from open play.

He has put a claim forward to be our free kick taker, I imagine it'll be between Rooney and Anderson for the full time job.

As a downside, it's not good to hear that Hargreaves has had a setback and might not be fit until Christmas.

Aye, went 2-0 up, then Insua got a pretty late consolation goal, we were very comfortable.
