The time is near once again for the mighty Salford City Reds to play infront of their great fans at the Willows with the visitors being the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, who early this season defeated us at the travelodge stadium.

This is a call to all Salford fans to lets get behind ALL the team, the good, the not so good, and even them who may not be here next year, and also the coach on friday night from start to finish no matter what the result.

Lets show our support and lift the team after i'm sure was the worst half of rugby in all there careers. I'd rather support them than turn against them, will not do any good berateing them with abuse for 80mins

SHOWING MY SUPPORT WITH MY SALFORD TOP SHOWING COME SUN OR RAIN CLAPPING THEM ON AT THE START AND OFF AT THE END !!!!

I Love Salford City Reds because it gives me a feeling of belonging to somthing that is special.

Salford rugby is in my blood, and i am proud to be called a salfordian and i hope to be there when we WILL win the super league

Here Here, we all knew (or should have) that this year was gonna be tough, frankly after 35+ years i know what tough is and this aint it.
Try Bradford 96 points and worse than that Wakefield away the week after that was seriously X rated. There are times i have started to want us to lose in the hope we sack the coach !!!!!!
But this season was gonna be tough, going into games with 7+ players 21< in our squad meant there wouldnt be consistancy BUT what did we get.
Wins at Hull, Leeds (yes Away at LEEDS !!) Saints at home, resurgent Huddersfield. Games that we could easilly of won with more experience and more steady play, young players coming thru Adamson, Ratchford, Myler etc all showing that they are capable of playing at this level and will improve even more, some could and should even be in the national team.
So some may leave so be it, get the money invest wisely and move on. Overall it`s been a good if up n down year and on reflection it`s not IMO been a bad un !

But to put positive spin on it I missed everyone pf our winning streak games earlier in the season so I'd get to the bookies and put a good wad of cash on Solly winning
