Cheer up! Hardly anyone is born in Widnes or Runcorn these days. You would probably have too be in your mid-twenties at least to have been born in Highfield Road. The chances are, the bloke sitting next to you at the game will have been born in Warrington, Whiston of Chester.

Time will tell. Imagine you're a kid from Whiston. You have two rugby league teams within reasonable travelling distance. One is St Helens, the other is Widnes. You'll do what all your classmates will do. Jump on the Man U/Liverpool bandwagon and watch them on the box instead.
