18 of us on a stag night this weekend and taking in the Salford vs Wakefield game. Most are non rugby fans but up for the game. Is there any deals for group bookings or offers on the game - or just pay on the gate??

Cheers

Jon

phone the club on 0161 736 6564 & take option for ticketing/matchday info may be worth a try.
Also the variety bar is open pre game from 6pm, you have to go into the ground to get into the bar & it is also open post game. Will give you a starter for the rest of your stag night outing.

It should be free entry after Sunday's pathetic performance. My local amateur team would have played better than that in the second half.

And yet there were loads of 'loyal fans' complaining last week about the number of free tickets given away.

Can't really see how the club can win here - moan if they do, moan if they don't.

I don't have an issue with the occasional offer and freebie given out that will get NEW people into the ground. However its when people have been given a free/cheap ticket for every single game this season it starts to grate. Surely once we have them hooked they should pay accordingly and we should concentrate on gaining NEW fans. Thought that was the idea.

Fine, but how does this work in practice?

How do you ensure that the 'freebies' only get to fans who otherwise wouldn't have gone to the game?

How do you ensure that those who would've paid don't get a freebie?

Also, how often is 'occasionally'?

If it's two games a season, fans complain not enough is being done. If it's almost every game fans complain it's too often.

Not sure how the club can win here?!

Not disagreeing with your point, just can't see a way around it. :?
