Toure in Manchester doing his medical. I have to say, one thing City don't do is f*ck around. They ask what the club wants, pay it then get straight down to business. Hughes must be delighted.

I love the way we do business. We are discreet, professional and clinical. Hughes is a lucky man indeed.
I didn't think it was worth posting a new message... did anyone hear about our owner investing c$200m in Virgin's space project? How many other club owners have their own space rockets? It's a different world.

The best bit of business for mine was Gareth Barry, their cheapest purchase so far.
Worst deal of the season thus far could well be Glen Johnson. £18m for a defender.....who is not a good defender and who has little end product, bar a couple of wonder goals last season.
City simply have to pay more. It's not a big issue to our owner. It's not as if our club is at the mercy of the banks.

Having seen some of the comments on Blue Moon when City lost in South Africa, I'd say not the majority, but a sizeable minority. The bigger problem are those City supporters that just want Hughes to fail.

I am loving the influx of City fans on here though, used to get a few posts a week of them, now we get hundred a day....and we're supposed to be the glory hunters.

To be fair, a lot of the posts have been from fans of other teams commenting on city, myself included. Also, we'll naturally have to discount 'regulars' like DD, EE and arguably Cibaman from any glory hunting shouts. They're still, by far, the most interesting close season story.
