I think they will need a big, dominant defender to play alongside Toure. Lescott would work really well with Toure, but I really rate Hangeland at Fulham. I may get shot to pieces for this, but if they don't get Lescott, then he'd be a top second option.

You're joking right?
That moment came as soon as Torres pulled Vidic's legs away.
When Dossena scored I was just a frozen, emotionless body. It was as though I was a captured spy getting tortured, in the end I was begging for my life to be ended.
The abuse in the days after was almost as bad as after the European Cup final.

If Haangeland was at one of the top 4 he'd have made the TOTY IMO, he was awesome last season.
But won't Richards be the one to play alongside Toure, or is he off back to RB?

I agree, we were linked with him around the time we signed Skrtel, I was like who the f*ck are these players we're being linked with?
I think we got the better deal as Skrtel is younger, but Hangeland would have done just as well for us.
As for Richards, I don't think he's good enough right now to be a first choice player to take City where they want to be. He's got potential, but he's young and he still has a lot to learn IMO. Physically he has everything, maybe a bit too much in terms of muscle, but he could do with stepping back a little from the centre back position, moving back to right back and learning from the more experienced players he'll play alongside.
It was an embarrasing PA stunt. I have cringed mnay times when Utd have done similiar things. Suppose with the current giddiness you don't see anything wrong with it, however give it a couple of years..............
