If so I think provided he's got over his shoulder injury he'll go well as he is playing for his career.
That's an interesting one - where have you heard this?
If he's fit again then I'd like to see us give him a chance. We'd have someone else who can offload the ball other than Cashmere and his ball handling at times is quality. He does make a few mistakes but who in our team hasn't this season? Would hopefully add a bit of excitment on the field anyway.
It says in one of the papers today that it will be announced this week that Bradford are releasing him from his contract.
Someone on one of the forums mentioned that he thought he was going to Salford until the end of the season because he wants to play for a contract for next year after being told he isn't being resigned by Bradford.
I've no idea if any of this is true but given the way he was playing for us befoire he got injured he would play well for Salford if this happened.

I understand that we don't want to become a retirement home again, but I'd be more than willing to take a chance on him. He is sheer class when fully fit and IMO could do a very good job for us for a season or two.

As far as the rumour I heard goes. It's until the end of the season so that he can put himself in the market place.
A short term deal like that would IMO be benificial to Salford as he'd play his socks off.

Would be a brilliant move for me.
Howmany remember fondly watching Cartwright off load in some incredible situations?? and he was as old (if not older) the Solomona.
The kind of class he has you dont lose with age, get him till the end of the season and see if his skills rub off on the talented young playersaround him as for me there isnt many better off-loaders in the game at the moment.
