Ian Sibbit has been called to tomorrow's RFL disciplinary meeting after being charged with a high tackle on Brian Carney yesterday.

There were a few high tackles in the second half - one did really pop Carney but I cannot remember who did it. May came from "panic".

Think it was Sidlow who got him hard and fair with his shoulder. He certainately looked a bit groggy for a few secs after it.

Sibbit found not guilty of a high tackle yesterday

"Salford City Reds for­ward Ian Sib­bit was found not guilty of a charge of mak­ing a high tackle on War­ring­ton Wolves winger Brian Car­ney at the Hal­li­well Jones last Sunday.

Sibbit’s chal­lenge had been placed on report by ref­eree Ben Thaler but the RFL ruled the second-row for­ward was clear to play against Wake­field on Fri­day"


I don't remember him being put on report?

so the ref gave a penalty against us for nothing, board said it was not a high tackle, before some wire with his/her drum in a twist comes on.

According to the rfl site Sibbit has been charged with a grade b offence and faces a 0-2 match ban
