It wasnt all doom and gloom yesterday for those who didnt come.

The first half was fine with the try of the season scored by Henry but the thing all Reds fans should find most uplifting today was Malcs 80 yard chase back - after several yards start - to take Matt King near the line. Worth the admission money alone.

The 80m chase was pure quality/comedy! It looked like Malc was trying to do front crawl the amount of times he tried to get his hands on Screech before he actually nailed him :lol:. FWIW, I think Matt King is one of the most overrated players I have ever seen. Whatever Wire are paying him is far too much and he's robbing them blind.

I had the Radio Manc on whilst watching - that was a perfect commentary.

Sad preacher nailed upon the coloured door of time;
Insane teacher be there reminded of the rhyme.
There'll be no mutant enemy we shall certify;
Political ends, as sad remains, will die.

Malc is an icon for the Reds, he is similar in the way Gerrard is for Liverpool.

That tackle and his commitment for the "cause" is unquestionable.
If we had 13 malcs I am sure we would be a regular visitor to Wembley and our trophy room much more interesting to look at.

Malc still is one of the best hookers in the game and would of got many GB caps if he had a srtonger pack around him. But he has shown tremendous loyalty and service to the club, through some bad times.

malc will surely become part of the coaching set up, when he finally hangs his boots up, which I personally hope he doesn't for a couple more years yet.

Just think twice when you try to knock Malc and say that he is finishd - RUBBISH

He is overrated a bit but in recent weeks he has been playing in his prefered position of centre under Tony Smith, TS knows best
