Hopefully we can turn things around in the next few days, because if we are not at our best on Friday Wakefield Trinity Wildcats are just the sort of outfit that can punish us.

I am hoping to see Jason Walton, Lee Jewitt and Jordan Turner included in the squad for this game, but of course that will be down to our head coach to try and decide the best available team to face the Wildcats on the night.

Here's hoping for an improved display on Friday after the debacle of yesterday's 2nd half (although after the 96-16 game our opponents, Wakefield, were supposed to be in line for some kind of backlash that didn't quite materialise - hopefully history won't repeat itself)

I would like to see SM switch a couple of things around.
Perhaps alternatate Smith & Paul at 9 - freeing 6 & 7 for Ratchford & Myler - and move Alker into the 2nd row. Smith's said he'd like to have a go at 9 so maybe a couple of games there may boost his confidence? Whilst Mal's defence & stamina is still up there with the best, I think his speed and passing at the play-the-ball isn't. In the 2nd row he may be able to stay on the pitch longer too rather than the interchange of dummy-halves with Robbie Paul.
Also from 9 maybe Smith could have a bigger influence on play after an offload from Cashmere.
Maybe give Henry a go at centre too as I sometimes think he is lost/ under-used on the wing.

It may be obvious for us fans who have been before but this must be his first time going to Salford. Maybe he doesn't want to be stranded in Salford with no way of getting into the match?

And the likelihood of that happening in any Super League game is?..
