Should of been a try no question. But FC need to get over it, poor decisions happen over the season.

For the benefit of the Robins fans that do not understand what a forward pass is, this is directly from the RFL:

The direction of a pass is relative to the player making it and
not to the actual path relative to the ground. A player running
towards his opponents’ goal line may throw the ball towards
a colleague who is behind him but because of the thrower’s
own momentum the ball travels forward relative to the
ground. This is not a forward pass as the thrower has not
passed the ball forward in relation to himself.

The pass was 100% backwards relative to Craig Hall's run. If it wasn't, the ball would have ended up in front of him (which it didn't). If the ball went forward relative to the ground (which I can't tell from the TV camera views) is irrelevant no matter how close it was. The ball clearly is backwards relative to Hall's run, even at the worst of angles.

That's unfair. The guy has shown his integrity with that statement. He came out and said he had no plan to stop Cookie and sent his team out to prove it.

I know what you mean. All those other coaches in SL must have amazing gameplans to stop the Stella drinker as thats the first game he has ever scored a try at Craven Park in. If only we had a decent coach

The thing is I've watched the game back twice now, and paused my Sky+ just as Hall is about to release the ball, he's one step over the shadow of the stand, which was parallel to the white line on the pitch, then moved it on, and stopped it when raynor recieves it, he's at least 3 steps past the shadow, and as Hall had stopped running, that takes away the momentum rule, if you try doing as I have, you may change your mind, or you may just carry on calling Rovers fans blinkered, but the blinkers will surely be on anyone who carries on spouting off, without taking the time to check.
