Agree TRB we were a clear second best Cas were the better team and more importantly wanted it more IMO.

I had one of those strange feelings early on that it wasn't goin to be our day and to be honest I never, ever felt like we were gonna win. We never seemed to get going, you have to credit Cas for that, but you also have to take into account the way our last two games have gone and the conditions today, I think they were all factors in our performance.

Thought Smith wasn't that bad throughout, but have to question his decision which ultimately led to Cas going in at the break 8-6 up. Cas knocked on, he waved play on and we lost about 10 metres. How the hell was that an advantage to us? Don't know how Brough questioned the decision, but surely he's within his right to question what was a poor and wrong call from the ref.

As I say though Cas did deserve the spoils, they won it up front with the dominant pack and a few clever pieces of play from Chase coupled with a better kicking game than ours.

Well done Cas.

I went to see our acadamy play on Thursday and they looked far more skillfull than our first team today. Some of our 'rugby' was like watching kids in the park. If they play like that they will not win another game.

Cas were the best team and rightly won, some of our lot don't deserve paying after that rubbish.

the issue about laying on though is a fair one, on some days the refs seem to allow longer than others and cas realised this better than us and took advantage of it. i have no problem with that it's part of the game

that's our problem were scared to lay on which results in us getting up and the opposition getting a much quicker play the ball, leading to us not been set and instantly loosing meters.

Very poor match all in all poor referee but I won't blame him, our inability to pass atkins, Moore, Henderson and ferguson all proved this & all could have ended in tries, pretty sure Murphy will feel like petersen did playing outside atkins very soon!!

Mcgoldrick is an absolute disgrace also, the eye gouging he did to Moore prior to Moore messing up the try opportunity was shocking and not needed in league leave that to union and although the ref penalised him the forearm facial he gave (Wilkes?) was disgusting also

looked to me like, once again, we started to believe our own hype, and our form was good enough that we just had to turn up.

please do not however start me on Ryan Atkins tonight, centre????? never. im not knocking his effort today just his skill level. he cannot pass the ball or will not.

Might also be me, but the players we are all hearing rumours about all looked off the pace, but then again that could be because im expecting them not to give a damn now.

Still enjoying the season ,but tonights very very bad.

get the feeling its going to be busy on here too, with a few returning friends!!

glad you noticed the niggling tw*t cos we were shouting our heads off at him near the end. it obviously goes on to an extent between all teams and players but he was particularly niggly, repeatedly, today

Sounded a poor game overall but it is only one game and on this occasion we took the spoils.

Let's both move on and win more than we lose for the remainder of the season and who knows, maybe the season decider will be a play off game - now that would really add some spice to the occasion :D

No we were very poor Cas weren't good but were better.

Hope I dnt sound too much like a saints fan but it was 2 tries all so was even just silly penalties which we are good at giving away cost us again

Two poor sides today nothing in it and either could have won.

Difference was Wakey made tons more mistakes than Cas, no intelligence on the ball and for most parts Cas wanted it more.

We started showing desire after JD's run and with 2 minutes left!

What's confusing you is the nature of my game

yes it was, made even worse by losing
both teams canceled each other out, the weather doesn't help but that's life
