Newton was very average to say the least. He has been strolling around like a superstar since he got his 4 year deal. i can completely see why the bloke has never played internationals or state of origin , not at that level.
Lovegrove has loads of potential as a forward and has really put the effort in this season. i thought he was lacking last season but fair play to the man, he looks good every time i see him now. Would think Rovers are trying to find a way to keep him.
Must say thought Hull had the best player on the park though in Berrigan , the bloke is outstanding and showed Rovers scrum half how to control a game.

Playing with 2 injuries at the moment.
The rest for the Challenge cup will do him the world of good.

TBF Rob there is no need to be playing him with injuries. There are other options and there is a tough, physical battle at Cas to come before the break.
Motto of the week -
It is the way of the weak to secretly bleat to those in authority rather than fight their own battles.
What a laugh, we win the derby and FC fans come on here and claim some sort of moral victory with their ifs, buts and maybes and banging on about injured players, bad coach blah de blah and what they'd have done if things had been different
YOU LOST. YOU LOST BECAUSE YOU ARE SECOND BEST TO US IN EVERY DEPARTMENT. ONLY WHEN YOU ARE ABOVE US IN THE LEAGUE AND BEATING US REGULARLY IN DERBIES WILL YOU BE ABLE TO CLAIM OTHERWISE.
Lovegrove and Newton both brilliant, Lovegrove in particular whenever he's on the field we are constantly on the front foot. Fitzhenry covered well at full back, wingers strong, Cooke and fisher outstanding, better team all round. Should have put more points on them but got a bit complacent when we realised just how terrible they were.

To be fair it might not just be crocks, could be their training and conditioning methods as well. Still it can't be too intense, they are allowed cig breaks...

The truth of the matter is that Rovers shell out cash for a contract with a genuine, world class chiropractor and FC chose to do without but don't let facts get in the way of your drivel Mrs B.

The comments on here about Newton would probably fit perfectly for Ben Galea. Am I missing something here?
Newton has been strolling round the park??? So what about that ankle tap he did after Webster got the runaround? What about the offload that created the opening for Webster for him to throw the ball in touch (although, Colbon had over-run it slightly)
Newton took the ball up solidly all night and only made one major error (the offload which Hull snapped up) and, like I've said, a Hull Fc hand was in there too.
Ben Galea?? He looked like a Man of Steel, now he looks like an average Aussie. He was 'terrible', and looks like he's playing silly bugg ers regarding the contract. Some of the knock-ons he made were ridiculous, that knock-on from Cooke's perfect pass was unbelievable - it was on a plate.
Newton has been awesome all year, I cannot believe the criticism levelled at him from here.

In summary, HKR are made up of of a few overrated foreigners, a couple of Wigan rejects and a couple of blokes I have never heard of.
Saints by plenty, by miles even!

HKR are about as poor as it gets.
When referring to the atmosphere of the HJ...

Shame it doesn't keep the sound like the full east stand of HKR. That's atmosphere.
