Lets agree to disagree.

Rovers have been beaten many times this season WITH their hooking rotation so to say they would have beaten any Hull side had they had that yesterday is a work of pure fiction.

Cusack though no world beater, is infinately better than Cordoba.

Thackray/Lauaki would have provided more impact from the bench, Washbrook would have played LF and Yeaman would have played right centre. That would have given Hull more quality and better balance. Agar got his tactics almost spot on yesterday but didn't really have the players to execute them properly. They rightly spotted Welham,Newton and Webster in defence and their short kicking game was outstanding. with ball in hand they always looked like they could break Rovers down. Remember there was only 6 points in it and Hull had three tries disallowed, 2 correctly and 1 incorrectly imo. I have no doubt that had Hull been full strength they'd have won yesterday.

The 'forward' pass was a massive get out of jail card for Rovers, and I would/will be gutted when something similar happens to Rovers. Remember though that Hull scored one of their tries off the back of a strip that Newton recovered. We had the better of the ref's decisions, no doubt - but it wasn't all one way for 80 minutes.
I knew sticking up for Thaler would pay dividends one day.

Couldn't agree more. The one bright side to Briers golden point is we get a much needed week of.

Deary me. Do you really believe that or are you just trying to justify another poor performance from the great east hull pretenders?

Very good assessment, although I'm not sure about the bit where you've put agar and tactics in the same sentence

You are in danger of showing your true colours with that silly comment.

Credit where its due Jake. Agar nearly pulled off what would have possibly been his best result as a head coach and i thought his tactics were excellent.

If both teams were at full strength and played there best game rovers would win every time,we are better than them now.Thats the long and short of it though the wessie's dont like it we are now the power in hull.
