But do any of them want to come, and are they available ???

Well if theyre not available then why sign Griffin when hes no better than what we've got. Id imagine Griffin would want to come when he can get a good contract offer of us. No point signing him for the sake of it.

There appears to be few props available at present within our budget (dont forget we are looking for a halfback as well), and IL is under pressure by the coaching staff and the fans to sign at least one prop, we still dont know for sure if Noble will be here next year, so who is choosing the new recruits, who has earmarked Griffin ?(if rumours are true).

Well if the new coach and assistant is in place like is rumoured then id imagine IL is picking up the phone to him? Who knows its like blood from a stone trying to find anything out that is GENUINE. Loads of bollox going around but its all from the same people who told us Noble has been sacked twice.

I think the assistant is sorted, but head coach is still 'on going'.
Nobody knows anything, thats why these threads keep going, for everyone who names a player he can be shot down and for everyone who thinks Nobby is going someone else thinks he is staying.
I personally dont think IL has decided yet. The semi final will have big implications for Noble I would think.

completely agree. the noble situation is a strange one, we are inconsistent which frustrates us yet we have been one game away from a grand final for the last two years. we are still in the running for super league and have a cup semi to look forward to and after beating leeds tonight we must have the likes of saints worried that we can challenge. but if we performed consistently would we top the league, could a different coach do better than noble. i have mixed emotions and i think the decision IL makes will shape him as a chairman. Are we better than we think we are. i dont think so, but a think we are on the crest of something special at Wigan. question is, can noble take us there, i wouldn't like to make that decision.
