People shouldnt be too bothered about Briscoe now we have Tansey. I believe he will prove to be an all round better full back than Briscoe and by the middle of next season the chant of "Were all agreed, Tansey is better than Briscoe" will be getting sung on a weekly basis!

I would still at the time shelled out and kept him. (my own opinion of course.)

We made him an offer, he recjected it based on the fact he would get GB honours and would be worth more, we carried on our recruitment and then when he wanted to go with the original offer we couldn't do it (either under the cap, or we didn't want to)
