Yes we would...then again we go there every year and have our tickets booked when they come out.

ATEOTD, the P&O ferry docked would give you a better view. And another thing, there's not a chance in hell I'm taking my 8 year old son to a game that is volatile at the best of times, let alone at 6pm on a Saturday night.

Oh it's official then, that article confirms it

Tbh I don't even think Wheldon Road is that bad, and I certainly wouldnt put it in the same bracket as BV, CP, BF. Imo its a good old fashioned rugby league ground, you get a good view of the game from all four sides of the ground, the atmosphere is great, and it homes a great set of supporters imo. Compare that to craven park, where you can only visibly see the game from 3 sides, banter with opposition fans is awful, and not to mention the fact that youve got a temporary golf stand to home away supporters (unless youre Hull.FC of course). Yes you may have plans in place to improve your facilities, but at present youre ground is knowhere near as good as Cas'.

So why have they been told to improve their facilities and we havent?

You have, it's just that Grudgell couldn't hear the environmental health officer because of the gas mask.

Beats me, thats the RFL for you. I presume its because they don't regard Wheldon Road to be 'sl standard', but neither is craven park. Fair enough you may have plans in place to improve your ground, but does that mean that right now, youre ground is better? No.

Meaning that they see ours as SL standard, and therefore better.
It must be, because we were not mentioned in this statement

Nope, the RFL are referring to the other clubs' plans to move to new grounds as pledged in their licence applications. Nothing to do with their current grounds and their standards compared to Craven Park.

Not necessarily. I think you are misunderstanding the RFL's letters to the five clubs.

I am not saying Rovers are in danger of losing their licence, but neither does the recent story indicate you are completely safe.

So if they are in their current ground at the next round of applications, will they get a franchise?

Who knows? It depends on any number of things, such as other licence applications.
